These are images of the roof from March 28 2010. the roof came through the second winter in pretty good shape. One problem some of the dirt in the tray was blown out. the gai soil is so light that the wind picks it up and throws it around.'m at the extreme end of how little soil you can use. The problem is not so much with the health of the plants but with the wind conditions on my roof. It interesting that around Novenber the wind starts to really whip through my roof. For some reason it comes from the south. This has something to do with the way my house is situated in the city rather than a south wind because down on the ground the conditions are not the same.
